Youth Programming by Wilderness Torah

and special guests Aubrey Golding of Eden Village West, Ellie Schindelman, and Adi Aboody

Wilderness Torah is excited to bring earth-based Jewish youth mentorship to Aravah! We will be providing programming for three age groups: 5-9 (Nitztotzim, Sparks), 10-13 (Lahavot, Flames), and 14-17 (Pechmei, Coals). Each age group will participate in engaging Wilderness Torah youth programming for a total of 8 hours during the weekend—2 hours on Friday, 4 hours on Saturday, and 2 hours on Sunday.

Some potential activities:

  • Sukkah wild shelter-building

  • Natural dyeing

  • Learning animal forms and getting inspired by the animals around us

  • Plant identification

  • Hitbodedut, the practice of speaking with nature in solitude

  • Torah theatre and silly skits

  • and much more!

Our mentors include current and former mentors of our B'naiture and B'hootz programs.
