Youth Programming by Wilderness Torah
and special guests Aubrey Golding of Eden Village West, Ellie Schindelman, and Adi Aboody
Wilderness Torah is excited to bring earth-based Jewish youth mentorship to Aravah! We will be providing programming for three age groups: 5-9 (Nitztotzim, Sparks), 10-13 (Lahavot, Flames), and 14-17 (Pechmei, Coals). Each age group will participate in engaging Wilderness Torah youth programming for a total of 8 hours during the weekend—2 hours on Friday, 4 hours on Saturday, and 2 hours on Sunday.
Some potential activities:
Sukkah wild shelter-building
Natural dyeing
Learning animal forms and getting inspired by the animals around us
Plant identification
Hitbodedut, the practice of speaking with nature in solitude
Torah theatre and silly skits
and much more!
Our mentors include current and former mentors of our B'naiture and B'hootz programs.
